During my ordained ministry it has been a privilege to share in the lives of many people. At times of celebration, transformation or sorrow, I have been given the opportunity to share times of deep emotion and see people as they can be. There are times when the promise that lies within us can be clearly seen and we have a sense of what it means to be created in the image of God. There are also times, however, when people struggle and find themselves in darkness. That is when we pray "may it be an evening star shines down on you.." and we find a path through the darkness until we "rise to find the sun." Faith is not the ability to believe the unbelievable but rather the source of courage to follow the path on which we find ourselves. It has been a blessing for me to see that faith in so many and through their examples to discover the truth in Enya's words "believe and you will find your way."
